The systems engineering team consists of members from Austria, Bolivia, Russia, India and Spain. The systems team is responsible for maintaining effective communication between the distributed SEDSat-2 team as well as providing quality assurance for the project.
The team is responsible for the overall coordination of the satellite design process. This is accomplished by the assignment of each satellite subsystem to an individual member of the systems engineering sub-team. The team member attends all regular sub-team meetings for his/her assigned sub-team and effectively acts as a liaison between the team and the systems group.
In addition to these tasks the final testing and integration of all satellite subsystems and the management of Protoforge requirements falls under the direct responsibility of the systems engineering team.
